Panel Discussion on Discrimination

On Sunday, April 8, our church hosted a panel discussion concerning discrimination in its various forms: race, gender, and sexual orientation. Panelists included Hannah Pritchard, a junior at Fairview High School, Mardi Moore, Executive Director of Out Boulder County, Sandra Saltrese Miller, a local immigration attorney, and Jean Dubofsky, FirstCong member, former Colorado Supreme Court Justice and local civil rights attorney and activist who successfully argued against Amendment 2 in the United States Supreme Court in 1992.
The panel discussion was moderated by former Colorado Congressman and First Congregational member David Skaggs. We are grateful to Nancy Wade for all her work in organizing this event and to Hannah’s father, Larry Pritchard, for capturing the event on videotape.
