Worship and Conversation with Dr. Reiland Rabaka
- Date: Sunday, April 6, 2025
- Time: 10:30am–12:45pm
- Location: Sanctuary, CO
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Reiland Rabaka as our preacher on April 6, 10:30 a.m. worship. Dr. Rabaka is the Founder and Director of the Center for African & African American Studies at CU Boulder, Professor in the Ethnic Studies Department, a national and international lecturer, frequent commentator in the media, author of 19 books, a poet, and a musician.
Following worship and his sermon on “Agape: A Biblical Blueprint for Building the Beloved Community,” Dr. Rabaka will join us for a congregational conversation.
To prepare for Dr. Rabaka’s Sunday with us, you are invited to listen to an episode of his podcast: The Cause: Conversations on Music, History, and Democracy, where he takes a deep dive into the meaning of allyship—breaking down the difference between reactive and proactive allies, the role of self-transformation in social change, and the need for radical, authentic allyship in dismantling systems of oppression.
