Focus: Food Insecurity
This year’s annual high school mission trip is through the organization Be the Neighbor, a partnership organization between the United Church of Christ and The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). We will focus on Food Insecurity, doing hands-on work in places like community gardens and food pantries/kitchens and also learning about advocacy efforts to secure and increase affordable access to healthy food. This trip is open to all current high schoolers (grades 9-12).
On Sunday, February 9th, at 9:15 in the Standish Room, we will have an orientation meeting for high schoolers and their families. See you there!

Cost for this trip is $650. This includes all of the participant’s activities, flight, transportation, and food. We have multiple fundraising opportunities over the next few months to keep the cost affordable and scholarships are available.
