On this Sunday before the July 4th holiday, our worship is an extended prayer for our country. We welcome Mark Udall, former U.S. Senator from Colorado (2009-2015) as our preacher. Church member and former Congressman David Skaggs will join him in leading worship. In these days as our democracy is being challenged in surprising ways, this morning serves both as a confession of the ways we have fallen short of living our ideals and as a renewal of our aspirations and hope.
