How Shall We Gather? Reflections on America’s Changing Religious Landscape and the Necessary Future of the Church

This lecture will begin with a sober look at the challenges posed by the growing population of unaffiliated people, declining religious organizations, and a culture rife with religious scandals and political polarization. Yet beyond those challenges, churches remain vital to their communities, and we will explore the resources of tradition and imagination that can allow them to move into the future.
