The Racial Justice Ministry is excited to support the Jerusalem Youth Chorus in two concerts coming to Colorado. Jerusalem Youth Chorus is a choral and dialogue program in Arabic, Hebrew, and English for Palestinian and Israeli youth in Jerusalem, “raising our voices to push back against the violence surrounding us – to reject war, occupation, and terror, and instead sing out for peace, justice, inclusion, and equality.” Check out their website to hear and learn about this inspiring group. You can purchase tickets online and get a 15% discount using the code JYCHOPE. A dessert reception follows the May 31 concert in Boulder.

You can participate in bringing this concert to Boulder:

  • Bake cookies for the reception. Contact Jane Thomas to help.
  • Volunteer at the Boulder concert box office. You will be trained in their ticketing system in a 1-2 hour Zoom call in advance. Volunteers are needed to check and/or sell tickets at the door and to help sell merchandise. Contact Jackie Dentino of JYC by email or phone: 202-427-9614. Volunteers are provided a free T-shirt and ticket to the Chorus’ VIP reception.
