Wherever You Are On Life's Journey
Welcome to First Congregational Church. Located in the heart of Boulder, we gather as a community of kindred hearts to worship, to learn, to serve, and to grow in the light of God’s grace. Hope rises up in our midst, joy pours out, and our commitment to the radical love of Jesus makes the words, “All are Welcome” as inclusive as they sound. A vibrant, theologically progressive congregation of the United Church of Christ, we are committed to faith as a journey, compassionate service, and inclusion of all. Join us for a Sunday or for a lifetime.

A fun and faith-filled Sunday School for Elementary is also held during the 10:00 am Sunday service.

We’re located in the heart of Boulder, two blocks north of the Pearl Street Mall on the corner of Pine Street and Broadway at 1128 Pine Street.
There’s a small church lot off the alley that we save on Sunday mornings for the use of visitors, families with young kids, and folks with mobility challenges. You’ll find ample parking in the city lot adjacent to the church at the corner of Broadway and Spruce and in the garage on the south side of Spruce, both free on Sundays.
The Sanctuary and Chapel can be reached via ramp at the Pine Street entrance, or via elevator from the lower south entrance. Bathrooms are accessible. Hearing assistance devices are available in both the Chapel and the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is also equipped with a Hearing Loop.
Sunday Worship in the Sanctuary at 10:00 am is about an hour.
This is Boulder! You’ll see everything from Sunday best to casual shorts and hiking shoes. Either way, we’ll be delighted that you’ve shown up, so please wear whatever you find comfortable.
After 10:00 am Worship, we invite you to stay to enjoy a cup of coffee, some snacks, and to make some new friends.
