Providing for your Family in Four Lessons

Join the Ministry of Last Things to gain peace of mind and provide for your family as you tackle end-of-life conversations and paperwork. You will be given a notebook to help you in the process. Please join us for all or individual sessions.
Session 1 – June 4th: What matters to you at the end? This Session focuses on starting conversations with your family based on the Starter Guide from The Conversation Project in Boulder Bounty. This session helps you voice your intentions now, so you family doesn’t have to guess later. It takes the burden off your family and reduces the possibility of disagreements for family members.
Session 2 – June 11th: What documents are most important for my family? This session includes MDPOA, values documentation, Living Wills and other forms you need to have filled out BEFORE something happens.
Session 3 – June 18th: Getting your financial house in order provides a checklist of financial matters including: accounts, trusts, safety deposit boxes, contact people for retirement funds, logins, donations of resources to organizations, and more.
Session 4 – June 25th: Hard conversations that will bless your family. This session will address two conversations. The first is how to break the ice with your family to share your wishes vs. theirs, keeping your family in mind, and disagreements. The second conversation will be how to communicate with your health care team. How to help them understand your values, Palliative Care, Hospice.
