Sunday Morning Ushers and Refreshment Donations
Ushers: We need people to serve as Ushers for the worship service. This is not a difficult job and The Board of Spiritual Life will train you. You can find out more information and sign up for multiple Sundays or for one Sunday to give it a try.
Refreshment Donations: The Board of Community Life needs cookies and other refreshments for Coffee Hour. All you need to do is signup and drop them off before the start of the service.
Help Support Afghan Refugee Family
Members of FCC, Trinity Lutheran & Community UCC have joined together to support an Afghan refugee family of 5 that came to Colorado in Feb. 2022. We are helping them integrate into the Boulder County community through African Community Center (ACC), an agency selected by the US government to support Afghan refugees. There are volunteer opportunities of providing transportation and more. No training is required. Teens are welcome too. Please contact Allison Hamm 316-259-5682 for information.
Homeless Cares
Homeless Cares, organized by Monika Rutkowski & Roxanne Peterson, works to fill a gap in social services in Boulder for unsheltered neighbors by providing access to a healthy breakfast, showers and a laudromat. Each Wednesday AM they serve approximately 50 people at the bandshell oatmeal, muffins, parfaits, fresh fruit, burritos & coffee. They also drive 5-6 people to the YMCA for a shower. On Thursdays they provide transportation to a laundromat. Volunteers are needed. For more information contact Monika Rutkowski.
