Have you ever heard of Flat Stanley? Flat Stanley was flattened out by a falling bulletin board. He is the subject of a book series (1960’s to current!) documenting his adventures, including frequent travel around the world in a brown envelope. Flat Stanley’s kin, Flat Jesus, is joining us at FCC this year to go along to your December events and his birthday festivities.
This is a meant to be a fun, intergenerational community building adventure brought to you by your Stewardship Team. Get your Flat Jesus at church. Dress him up with crayons, pencils, or fabric; attach a stick, pipe cleaner, or other handle and off he can go with you and your family on your adventures in the next several weeks. Take pictures of Flat Jesus with your family or at your events and post it to the Church’s Facebook page (addresses on the back of Flat Stanley), or to Instagram. You may also email a photo, send it to fccstew@gmail.com. If you would like help with the technology, bring your device to Sunday church and we will find someone who can help!
